Christmas shopping!
 

My son was bored tonight so convinced me to go shopping with him. We drove to a city 40 miles away and hit WalMart, Kohls and KMart. I let him pick out his own gifts since he's a very picky character and was badly in need of clothes. He got a leather coat, a shirt, a hoodie, pants, shoes, socks and boxers! He's all set to look dashing now. LOL

I also got my oldest daughters birthday gift, a couple of hoodies for my youngest daughter, 2 dvds for my youngest granddaughter, 3 pair of pants for the oldest granddaughter, and one dvd for my nephew. I was delighted to find such good sales on things!

I will be SO glad when I'm done christmas shopping; it felt good just to get this much done today.

Wow!! It sounds like you're off to a great start. The week before Thanksgiving I went to Wichita and bought clothes for all 5 of my grandchildren and a few other gifts. I felt pretty good getting it done. There weren't any long lines and the clothes weren't picked over. I'm like you, I'll be glad when I get it all bought.

I decided to go back today and see if I could get more of my Christmas shopping done. I simply don't want to let it wait till the last minute and have things going on the next 2 weekends that will make it hard to go. After work it's too late with the long drive we have to any city.

I got my grandkids, nephews, Mother, and my own kids all done! I picked up a couple of things for hubby, and my sister in law: so all I really have left is to finish up for hubby and my brother. I found my best sales today at T.J.Max and Kohls again. I even got gift wrap and bags so I can get it all wrapped before anyone snoops. ;)
