Like it or not, I'm back for a while!!
 

Okay, so I just deleted the Facebook app from my iPhone. Enough is enough. Since politics is banned on here, we should be safe from all the craziness. Whew, I feel like I escaped or something!!

Actually deleting that app was very liberating. I think I'm breathing better already.

Hopefully there will be time now to catch up with you and hopefully get to know the newer folks!!!

Welcome back, Marilyn :) I am also getting sick of the political stuff on fb! And I have way less American friends on there than I'm sure all of you do, so I couldn't imagine having it 20x worse!

Glad to see you here! I certainly appreciate the fact that the ladies here have definite political opinions, but we don't feel the need to shove it down anybody's throat:rolleyes: This is our first Presidential election with Facebook. It's making me crazy, lol!

Since I announcd on FB that I'm leaving for a while, I've gone beck some to just see what's on my wall, and things have settled down a lot. I think by leaving I sent a message. My daughters told me the one of our mutual friends who was a very political poster has unfriended all three of us. Oh, well... After I left things got a bit heated and I guess it was too much for her. Her own daughter told her to get over it.

I'm still not going back though. I was too used to checking it several times a day. It's kinda nice to be free.
