Happy New Year
 

I just got in from my nephews and we had a great time, we also celebrated his daughters 7th birthday. He is divorced and is a wonderful father, sadly his wife left him for another a few years ago. How did you ladies celebrate the Eve?

We were planning on staying home and having our seafood supper. We did stay home, but we didn't fix the seafood. Since my son was sick with the stomach flu on Friday and part of Saturday...we were afraid to let him eat the seafood and butter. So we are fixing it tonight instead. He's feeling much better now and even though he loves seafood, he wasn't sure he wanted to try it so soon either.

I went to bed around 9:30 and I don't know yet what time they went to bed...it's only 6:30 AM and they are still asleep.

Hope everyone else had a great evening and a safe one too!

We had a lot of people (28) from church out to our house and we ate (of course!) and played games. We had a lot of fun!! We ended up going to bed about 3:00.

We went over to a friend's house and played games til about 10:30, everyone was getting a bit tired and my dad was home sick so we went home to keep him company. I ended up on the phone with my boyfriend, I don't know why I stayed on the phone with him for so long, he was playing some video game with his sister and we didn't talk much, I think he had me on speaker so I wasn't about to say anything that could backfire and be embarrassing, not to mention I couldn't understand anything they said. I felt bad cause I was starting to get a bit jealous because it sounded like they were having a lot of fun and I wanted to be there, not saying my family's boring, they just seemed to be having a lot of fun.

Everyone went to bed around 12:10, we didn't do much celebrating.
