Got My New Monitor!!!!
 

I am so happy!!!! I think?? I finally got my new monitor and I think it's gonna take some getting use to. I'll hope I'll be able to adjust the brightness and a couple of other things...but so far...so good!!

It's an LG Flatron wide screen. I'm just not use to it yet, I guess. Everything is so much bigger on it except for the print and the brightness. I'll get if figured out eventally I hope!! Right now it's giving me a bit of an eye ache...LOL I know...get a new monitor finally and still belly aching!!!!...LOLOL

Janet, if you use Internet explorer, you can increase the size of your text by going to the task bar at the top of your page and click on VIEW, then TEXT SIZE. just pick a bigger size till you find what you like.

As for the brightness, you probably need to read the manual. LOL

So happy for you, Janet!!!!!! I chose not go get the wide screen because we do architectural design, and it stretches the design from side to side with the software we have and messes it up. Mine is the old time aspect ratio. I know people who have the wide screens, and really love them!!!!!

Oh Yeah, Janet, you finally got your new monitor!!!! You're going to love it! My husband has a flat screen and it's really nice.

I wasn't sure if I really was going to like it once I got it all hooked up. I even got up this morning thinking I might take it back and get 19" regular size flat screen. But after being on it...I am liking it more and more all the time.:)

Tink, I did try the font size on IE, but I've already got it on the largest font. It's fine for like MSN home page and some other pages, but like typing this here on 4WT and YT, the print is small. Not sure if I can make it bigger on any of the forums or not.

I am such a picky dork!!!! I think tomorrow I'm going to take the monitor back and get a regular size flat screen instead of keeping this wide screen. The print is just way too small for me. I wish I could have found this out before I bought it...duh!!!! I hate exchanging, but I gotta do what I gotta do!!..LOLOL
