"Girls Next Door" on E!
 

Does anyone else watch this show? It chronicles the daily life of Hugh Hefner and his three live-in girlfriends. I don't know why, but I am IN LOVE with this show! Before I started watching this show, I considered all playboy bunnies to be slutty, skanky, bimbos, porn stars and everything like that. But after watching this show, I have really grown to like Hef's three girlfriends and have really come to view Playboy as an artform. One of his girlfriends is highly educated and is currently working on her PhD. I just really like all three of them. They are so nice, not slutty at all, and seem like genuinely nice girls/women. :)

I LOVE this show! I never get to watch it any more, but I really like it. They really a normal women.

I know! I was pleasantly surprised how normal they are! They act exactly like I do!

Yes... I love this show too.... with the exception of his real girlfriend.... hmmm KI can't remember her name... sometimes I think she is too controlling other than that watching Kendra "Trying " to be Ghetto is sooooo funny...I like Bridgette the most... she is such a sweeheart...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I am so glad that you started this thread!! My favorite is KENDRA!! She is sooo freaking funny!! I also think that bridgette is a sweetheart!! I like holly but you are right, she is a bit controlling!

Hugh Hefner is DA MAN!!! This is truely one of my fav shows!

Oh my...it sounds like I'm missing out on a good show here. So it is his real girfriends? Is it like a reality show? I'll have to check it out, because right now the shows I usually watch have ended until next season.

Yes, Janet! You should check it out! At first, I was disgusted at the whole idea of this show, but I watched one episode and was HOOKED!!!!! His girlfriends act just like normal women do! They are so hilarious, too. It really made me re-evaluate my feelings about the whole Playboy industry. Holly IS a bit controlling, but she is his #1 gal. She really does love him and wants to marry him and have children so badly. I feel sorta bad for her, you know?

I feel bad for her also, because I'm sure that will never happen. She is probably my favorite, then Bridgette (sp), then Kendra. I actually got to see an episode I hadn't seen before this weekend... it was great!!

Okay ladies...I was finally able to catch an episode. It might have to take two. I saw the one where they went to one of the girls hometown...I think Lido or something like that.

It must be my age showing again, because I thought they all acted like air heads. I'm gonna watch it again just to make sure I didn't judge it too harshly, but I was embarrassed for them.

I'll give it one more chance and see what I think, but I just don't think it's something I'm in tune with. :)

Don't worry, Janet! The first couple of times I watched it, I thought the exact same thing. I used to just watch it for a good laugh. But know I feel like I've actually kind of gotten to know the girls and now I like it on a deeper level. I know, how "deeply" can you like a show like that, but seriously, you know what I mean. ;)

Never heard of the show. I think I have enough to keep up with already watching Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. That's about all my schedule will allow. That and a little 4WT of course. I'm almost a YT dropout.

It is not shown over here, does he sleep with them all? and does he change them every year?, or is it just a a title playboy bunnie for the mag?.:confused:

I caught this show a few times, it was not bad at all like Rebecca said, when is it on tv ? If I remember I will watch it...

Well, he shares a bedroom with his #1 girlfriend, Holly. They will not say for sure or not if he sleeps with all of them. But whenever someone asks him or the girls that, they say, "Do you sleep with YOUR girlfriend?" Basically implying that, yes, he does sleep with all of them, although not everynight. He sleeps with his #1 everynight since they share a bedroom.

His three girlfriends are not playboy playmates...none of them have ever been a Centerfold for his magazine. All three of them have been begging him to be in the magazine so just recently he made an issue with them on the cover all together. They were all three excited. But there were his girlfriends long before he let them be in the magazine.

He actually has had these girlfriends for awhile now. He and his #1 girlfriend, Holly, have been together for 5 years now and are actually talking about having children. From what I can see, they both really do love each other. He has been with Bridget for 3 years and with Kendra for a little over 1 year.
