Barack Hussein Obama

I just rec'd this in an email. From what I saw of some of his interviews, I liked him, but now I'm worried. I don't know if any of this is 100% true, but I would like to find out. It's kind of scary if he did make President. It makes me so sad AND angry that you just don't know who to trust anymore.

Translated to Osama bin Laden Hussein..lol.. Can you actually believe our country is this stupid to even contemplate someone like this for president of the United States of America..Just his name is enough...

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii .

When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya . His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia . When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia . Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta . He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, ?He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.?

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama?s mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Osama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world.

Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States , Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama?s expected presidential candidacy

I certainly hope that this is not all true. The name translation thing does not seem possible. How would he have been named so long ago a name that combines Hussein and Bin Laden? Coincidence is too great to be true.

He does come from a complex background. I'm sure more will come out during his candidacy. The media would have a frenzie over this if it is true.

I think it was referencing him to Bin Laden....hence the lol in the same line.

I posted this on YT too and I'm afraid I might have started something which I didn't mean to do. All I wanted (same here) is more informtion on this man. In the few interviews (one with his wife) that I saw, I kind of liked him. The elections are coming up fast and I like to be as well informed as the average citizen can be when casting my vote. IF the email I rec'd is true...it just kind of scared me a bit. I don't want to and don't want my fellow citizens to fall under a spell.

Accidentally posted twice....fingers are moving faster than my brain....LOL

Thank you Rebecca!!! I knew someone from here would give me something to read so I can make an intelligent decision for myself. My mistake was posting it elsewhere.

I don't think I should have pasted the email I rec'd, I should have just asked a question about him or asked for a link for more information.

I really wouldn't mind if this thread was just dropped. I regret so much for starting it....I should have just started searching.

Don't worry, Janet! It was something you received in an email! We ALL pass on email forwards. All of us here know that you didn't mean anything by it. :)

This is about Obama. Kindda intresting.

I personally would vote for him before Hillary Clinton... I read his book and have followed him around alot.. And even though I am a republican inside and out I agree with alot of this man's way of thinking and think that he would run a clean race and actually help our country. He is of the democratic party but if you ever listen to him talk or read his book.. he is a bit of everything... although he is a demo he thinks like a republican in some aspects... if and when he officially confirms he actions to run, he has my vote! P.S I voted for Bush 2x...lol

We worship an awesome God in the blue states, and we don't like federal agents poking around our libraries in the red states. We coach Little League in the blue states, and have gay friends in the red states. There are patriots who opposed the war, and patriots who supported it. We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the Stars and Stripes, all of us defending the United States of America."
how can you not back this man?

Janet 01-21-2007 05:34 PM

I know!!! When I saw the different interviews and now reading the link you posted....I like him. Then this morning I got that email and just wasn't sure what to think. Right at this moment, I like him more than I fear him.

lol.... I really like him, hubby and I are both Republicans but I would vote for him before Hillary ... really.... weird huh, since I am a woman...

Emmsmom 01-21-2007 07:26 PM

Neither of them will get my vote! If I had to choose I just wouldn't vote! I hope we have an awesome Republican running!

Marilyn 01-21-2007 09:11 PM

Janet, don't feel bad starting this thread here. I haven't checked YT to see what happened there. I think the active posters here, while we may not always agree, will at least respect each other's opinions.

I for one am an independent. Before Bush invaded Iraq, I considered myself a Republican although I did not always vote for the Republican candidate. Now, I will always endeavor to be informed and vote for the candidate that I feel will do the best in the position.

Any debate that gets us questioning and learning and seeking the facts prior to an election is a good debate.

Hillary will not get my vote. I just don't agree with her politics, and don't trust her.

Obama has promise, though lacks experience, which honestly may not be a bad thing. I just hope one of the parties comes up with a good honest sincere candidate who does not have a hidden personal agenda and has some common sense.

Thanks for posting the Snoops link Rebecca!! I couldn't have explained it better than they did.

I love Obama, I personally think he would make a great President, he's what the country needs.

If you wanna read any of his stuff he actually has two books, The Audacity of Hope and Dreams from My Father. The Audacity of Hope actually came out not to long ago and what I've read of it so far is really good.

I like Obama, and if he makes it through the primaries I'm definitely voting for him!!
