Pictures! Our new home!

So you guys will definitely have to overlook how messy the yard looks, but they are still working on it and landscaping is one of the last things they are planning on doing. They've already planted new grass though, but for now this is what it looks like. We weren't impressed with the outside, but we definitely fell in love with the inside, so keep that in mind. :p

1. From across the street. Sorry about the people, I didn't want to be rude and ask my family to move just for a picture! :)
2. The little playhouse/storage thing. Not sure what to call it...but some amateur builder had a lot of fun! We'll probably make a tool shed out of one room and a play area for my little sis out of the other. And rocking chairs on the porch! lol :)

We weren't able to get in today because the owner was at a funeral, but I will have those pics as soon as possible for you guys. The inside is definitely what sold us on it!

Oops, this probably should have been in the My Pictures forum but I didn't think about it until it was too late. Sorry!

Check it out!!! Already Marty has a fenced yard! LOL - That's the first thing I thought of! :D Congratulations Angie. I tell ya, I have to give you some major high 5's tonight. You are young, going to school, working, and giving it your all and now you are a home owner. WOW!! This is such a HUGE day for you girl!!!!

I am really proud of you (I say this as a mother would say, LOL) But truly, I am very impressed and proud.

I wish you, your hubby, and family many many years of making beautiful dreams in YOUR new home.

**edited to add** I am soooo sorry. I forgot to tell you it's a lovely home too! How did I even forget to say this? Gosh, I'am just not with it tonight.

What a nice cozy looking home! I'm sure with a little TLC you can make that yard one to be proud of.
Congrats on your new house!
Well done.

Aww, thanks so much, Sheryl. We are trying so hard to make good decisions...

Oh, and we aren't home owners YET. :)

We were supposed to sign papers yesterday, but the real estate agency had an employee who was missing for several days that they found dead recently. He had somehow driven his car off a very big cliff, so they are struggling to catch up on all of his work and are behind on a lot of stuff, including our contract. His funeral was today. We are not being pushy because it's a very hard situation for them to be in and we don't know how close our real estate agent was to him. We don't want to make it worse. So we will probably sign everything sometime next week.

But anyway, (I want to end on a happier note!) we are looking forward to everything being "official." I'll let you know when that happens. We are supposed to move in right after finals which are the first week of May.

Looks like a great starter home. I can see a nice lawn with shurbs and new young trees and plenty of flowers. Won't take long and you'll be the envy of the block.

I can't wait to see pics of the inside Angie!! :camera: I bet your excitement is over the top right now. I remember right before signing/moving into our new home, I felt like I didn't sleep due to too much excitement and nerves rushing. :p

You are going to have so much fun sitting there in your yard with a sun hat on, sipping iced tea, and planting beautiful flowers and such. :40: LOL, then you look up and yell to your hubby "Would you PLEASE mow the yard?" The "honey~do lists" don't take much time at all to get really long. :p

Thank you guys so much for all of your sweet comments!!! :) I can't wait to show you the inside. I just love it!

Angie congrats to both of you! That is a lovely home and it will be the way you want it in no time. I like that little wooden house, with a coat of paint, and pots plants on the deck, and a few other little goodies is going to make it look to cute! It reminds me of a little candy house.
Nice part of it is, its fenced in for Marty, so you have no worries about that.

Well done girl, cant wait to see pics of the inside ;)

I'm definitely looking forward to adding "my touch" to it! I love the fence for Marty. There's a front fence and a back fence, though we'll have to add a little to the back fence (for some reason it doesn't completely close on one side ) and we'll need a gate.

I never stayed there over night or anything, but yes from what I understand Jason loved it. I hope you two do as well :D
