No Water
 

Our well is down at the neighbors who moved house. Well...They decided to have the power turned off yesterday. No power means no well, which means no water to us. Ugh!!

Robert called Wayne yesterday and said "HELP".

We can't bath ~ I had to jump in the hot tub this am. I am wearing a hat being I can't wash my hair.

Dogs have melted ice cubes for water.

I used distilled water to brush my teeth.

No flushable toilet - Janet I thought of you during this. :D

Can't wash dishes - This part I don't mind too much

Robert can't wash the dentures/partials - More water stole from the hot tub LOL.
(no worries, we add disinfectant to the sealed bag we put the prosthetics in)

Can't water my flowers - no need it's raining LOL

Why is it having no water makes you sooooo thirsty? LMAO!!

We were told the power should be back on today for the well. Thank goodness!

Oh crap thats aweful Sheryl! Hope they turn the taps back on ASAP!!! Didnt those people know you are attached to them? if they do, they could at least have called you to tell you what they were doing!

Having my water dependant upon the needs and whims of a neighbor would worry me!

I hope they have it back on very soon for you!

oh poor Sheryl!!!! If you are attached to it as well, should the water company not have to notify you and give you any option for keeping it on? I think it was extremely rude & thoughtless of you neighbors to do that to you hon. I hope it is back on very soon. *hugs*

Oh Sheryl......I know I shouldn't be laughing, but boy after what I just went through, it's darn near the same thing. Now I can laugh at my predicament, but when it was happening it sure wasn't funny!!!

I sure hope you're able to buy the house and land so you'll never have to worry about that kind of thing again. Isn't is amazing when we are without the simplest of pleasures how desperate we become?

I'm sending electric prayers to the electric company to get that power turned on FAST!!!!!

Hey, Sheryl, don't forget that you can always use a trash can with a big trash bag in it for a potty!!

Can't wash dishes, clothes, or mop the floor. Can't use the potty at home. Can't brush your teeth or cook dinner. Sounds like a good time to go on a vacation or go shopping!!!!

I'm glad you have water again. It's SO hard to go without it!

Yay!!!! Now you can do dishes, do laundry, take a shower and most important....GO POTTY!!!!!

yayyyyy!!! now since there are dishes to do, floors to mop, & laundry to do, it's time to take a shower & go out. You deserve it. The dishes, laundry & floors have waited this long. They will still be there after a nice day out & you might get really lucky & someone else will have them done when you get back :D

LOL - I havent even had a bath yet even though I could. I will wait till tonight before I go to bed. I've been out doing dirty work so it doesn't do much good now to get clean until I can "stay clean". :p

We will be getting our own well house soon. :thumbup:

I haven't read this thread till now.. Glad that the power is back on :) :) . We take things for granted in life, until we don't have it, then we realize how important it is.. Happy watering...lol
