Shaving???

OK i was curious how many have to shave daily here? i am definitely a daily shaver my leg hair sucks! Also how many Shave their bikini lines and do you get irritation when you shave? I have very sensitive skin and so i get the little red bumps every time i shave there no matter what! I stopped shaving and started using a depilatory cream and it has helped but i do still get the bumps and suggestions to help?

I shave every other day, i have fine hairs so i could even skip two days if i wanted to, specially in winter. I do bikini shave, i have for many many years, i never get any bumps, make sure you use a sharp enough rasor and use a good body lotion after.

There is a product on www.cosmeticscop.com. It is called Skin Relief Treatment. Paula's Choice Products are fantastic. I use this one evry time I wax. I even put it on my bf when he has razor burn. Put a little on a cottonball after shaving or waxing. This should help with the irritation. Good old Neosporin also helps with razor bumps.

I'm lucky that somehow I have fine hair on my legs. I only shave once a week. Even if I haven't shaved my legs in awhile, I can wear and skirt and no one will notice. Now, the hair on the rest of my body is another story! I have hairy arms and "peach fuzz" on my face. I also get the red bumps on my bikini area. But I have found that if I only shave my bikini area once a week, that I don't get the red bumps. Luckily I work during the summers, so there is rarely a time that I need to share my bikini area more than once a week.

If i even thought to put lotion on my skin after shaving i would die lol it makes the rash way worse and even a brand new razor does it but i will check out the cream and for those of you who rarely have to shave i wish i were you lol

I shave every single day because I can't STAND the "stubble" feel - yuck! I've shaved everyday for so long that if I skip a day now, the hair would be so hard and long, I'd probably need to braid it!! I only shave bikini area when spring arrives. I always use a brand new razor the first time I shave there as well as a soap for sensitive skin (gels and creams don't work as well, to me, as a soap does in helping prevent the red bumps) - I use Oil of Olay soap. After the first couple times of shaving with a new or sharp razor, it doesn't bother me and no irritation.

I don't shave my legs as often as I'd like to because I get razor burn REALLY bad.... The only thing that helped me was "Coochy" shaving lotion. You can get it in adult stores, online and from a couple of the pleasure party vendors (Pure Romance, for example). It's not 100% cured, but it's definitely better than it would be otherwise.

I rarely have to shave my underarms and bikini area now. I'm having those areas lasered and it's working!

I shave daily just my arms and legs. Hate it too. :D

I should shave my legs every day...dark, course hair!! But in the summer it's usually every other day and then in the winter, it's once a week, maybe twice. I just wish I didn't have to at all. I use "Skintimate" shaving gel for my legs and underarms. I get it at Wal Mart. Never had any skin problems from using it.

I'm kind of a hairy Italian so I have to shave everyday. In the winter though I'll skip a day.

I'm bad. I shave my legs every couple of weeks, but I don't wear shorts often, when I do, of course I shave. I wear dresses on Sunday, but they are usually long with black hose, so nothing shows. I'm just always rushing in the shower and don't have time to do every day. In the summer, I shave bikini area even thought I wear shorts with my swim suit. Wouldn't want my shorts to float up while we are tubing and gross anyone out. My husband appreciates it when I shave, but it's really not a big deal with him. Underarms I shave most every day, can't stand hair there.

I have bumps when I shave bikini area for the first couple of days the first time of the season, after that, no bumps, but will definitely try the hydrocortozone.

In summer I shave everything once a week in a bath & run a razor over my leg once or twice during the week so I don't gross anyone out at softball. My hair on my legs isn't too bad it's thin, blond, soft & patchie so I can get away with once a week or less.

In the winter I only shave when I decide I'm gonna wear my super low rise jeans or my hubby comments about me being a saquash (usually once a month).

I only shave my pits when he comments also.

P.S. My hubby shaves my down there area for me. He's awesome at it. Since I've been letting him I've had no more problems with razor burn. I guess that area is more akin to their face then to our legs.

I shave legs and pits about twice a week. I shave the bikini area about once a week. Anything more than that and I'm digging out ingrown hairs.
