Anyone tried Slim in 6?

I bought the dvd's a while ago, tried them for a week (quite the workout!) and stopped due to having visitors. I haven't started again yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried and maybe been somewhat successful with them.
Thanks

Bringing this back again....

I just saw the TV informercial about this. It looks wonderful, of course don't they all. Has anyone else tried it yet? In these comercials they use the nicest looking women (and men) to sell their product, but does it actually work? They offer so much on the informercial.

For those of you still not familiar with Sllim In 6, go to www.slimin6.com

If it really works...wow! If not, I would just want to crawl in a hole.

I've been following the WW points thing for a week now...got on the scales this morning and lost one lousy pound. I'm getting discouraged before I even get started.

See if you can find a list of the ingredients from a website and we can take a look at what's in it and whether it should actually work. Did you consider the glycemic index info I posted? That really works!

Cheer up Janet! You are trying and that's what counts. Some weeks you will lose more than others and that's just normal. Maybe this week will be a good week. *hugs*

I was thinking it was a diet with a supplement. But at any rate, I never felt hungry using the glycemic index to eat and both my husband and I lost weight which enabled us to exercise more. Walking is a great exercise for weight loss. Add some free weights - some dumbbells for strength and get a book that uses them creatively, add some stretches for safety and you are in good shape to lose safely and to keep it off.

What ingredients are you talking about? I'm confused.

Thanks Kate...I know what to do...I'm working on the WW points system right now, I'm just discouraged after one week. I know what exercises to do...I've been walking and more. That's why I asked about the Slim In Six DVD's they look good, and makes you feel like you're not exercising alone. They just cost so much!

AngieDoogles 10-28-2007 10:04 AM

Janet, I'm not sure how much they cost new, but I did a quick search on Ebay and I saw a few that were $9.99 and some that were about $20. There were also some that were more expensive, so I'm assuming they must have been brand new.

Thanks Angie...I was looking for a Vera Bradley purse on ebay and didn't even think to look there for the Slim In 6. I thought it was so new, it didn't even cross my mind. You're a sweetie. I'll check it out.

I hope you're able to find one in the price range you're looking for! Ebay is great for stuff like that. Sometimes people buy those kinds of things and then never use them so they think they'll at least get a few bucks back by getting rid of it on Ebay.
