My parents in town!
 

I just spent four days with my parents in town! It was so nice to see them! We had a lot of fun and I actually got to get out into this huge city and see somethings I haven't seen before. And now, I feel more at home some how. My parents brought birthday presents and clothes that I could pack up when I moved here, so that was exciting too.

We went out to so many resturants, and did so many fun things together. It was so much fun. They had to leave a day early which was dissapointing, but my mom will be back in 2 weeks! I'm so happy.:D :D

It sounds like you guys had an amazing time together! It's great that you are so close to your parents. I hope you have another wonderful visit in two weeks!

It does sound like you had a really good time with your parents. I hope you took lots of pictures of all the fun you had together. And just think, you'll be able to spend time with your Mom in a few weeks. You should check into doing something special with your Mom, like a spa or something.

I was going to take her Kayaking for mothers day, but they unexpectedly had to leave early and we didn't get to do it. So maybe we'll do that next time.

Sounds like you all had so much fun together. You have something wonderful to look forward to with you Mom coming back to visit you. Enjoy her being there. :)

So good that you had this special time with your folks, and that your mom is coming back so soon!!! When it all boils down, the most important & memorable times are the ones we spend with those we love and with those we are getting to know.

That would be really fun! I've never been kayaking but I've been canoeing and loved it. That would be really good Mother/Daughter time!

My relationship with my parents (esp. my mom) is hit and miss....and usually stressful. *sigh*

Nah, my mom is just....my mom. It's how she is. She is sincere in her own way, and I know she loves me even when she's not being nice about it - and I love her too, and we get along fine as long as I stay on her terms. So, I stay on her terms and it's all good. She really is wonderful and I'd never trade her.
