Why is it that when a man does things on their cars or for friends...they do whatever to darn near perfection, but when it comes to doing anything in the house, it's done...if you will...halfassed?

I mean why do SOME men not take as much pride in things they do around the house? :confused:

A man may be trying to show off their work for their friends, but in their house, they may not need to feel the need to show off to their spouse. The perspective just may be different from the man's point of view.
