You are probably gonna love this...I am 51 right? I still have the original Barbie and the box she came in, original Ken, and Skipper. I also have the original "Hello Heidi" doll. She is about 6 or seven inches tall and when you push the button on her belly, her arm raises up.:)

My favorite movie of all time is The Wizard of Oz. I have a pair of ruby slippers (child size but they are so cute), the Wizard of Oz monopoly board and trivia game. I also have figurines and a coffee mug, the movie, the soundtrack and posters. I would have named my Yorkie Toto (even though the original Toto was a Cairn Terrier) but my husband named him Nikko and since he gave him to me, I couldn't argue. I just LOVE this movie!!:)

I remember being afraid of the flying monkeys when I was little. It was a big production at our house. We always looked forward to the movie on TV. It was an even bigger production when we got our first color television. We didn't know it started out black and white and then into color.

Yeah, I don't know how much mine is worth. I received it for Christmas in 1960 I think. I'm not sure. I was only 5 or 6 at the time if I remember right. She was the one that had the curley hair right above her forehead, then it was put in a pony tail and at the end of the poney tail was more curls. I think she was one of the first made. I have a bunch of clothes for her and then my mom made a bunch more.

OMIGOD those are sooo cute!! I remember the Barbie set when it came out a few years back. I think they had them at the Warner Brother's store. When i went they only had Glenda. I was so upset.

Those are really cute. I wish I had a collection, but don't really know what I would start with and where in the heck I'd put it...

I think my Mom was wanting me to collect Angels and has given me some, but even though I love them, I have to dust them, too!! Come on Mom, give me a break!!:)

I have Tammy, my mother would not let me have Barbie, she was too curvy, not a good role model for a little girl. My daughters had lots of Barbies.

I do not collect anything at the moment, went through the Beanie Baby thing and have bunches in plastic tubs in the attic. Have some Avon figurines stored in the cabinet. Collected post cards of our county courthouse for a while, have one from 1894. Guess if I collect anything, that would be it, the post cards. They don't take up much space or collect dust in my filing cabinet.

In my opinion, at this point in life, collectables are money drains, and dust collectors, so I'm into simplifying. But if collecting is your thing, more power to you. We all have something that makes our lives more interesting & hunting for that special something can be a lot of fun. ;)

Hmm. i should go take a pic of them
