Hello ladies! I hope you all remember me(you know, Marilyn's daughter)!! Sorry I haven't been around much lately, life's been hectic!!! But I've got some news:

I'm on cloud nine!!! It was so cute too! He took me to my favorite restaurant, Katz's, took me to see the bats at South Congress bridge in Austin(the world's largest urban bat colony) which I've always wanted to do, then took me in a horse-drawn carriage to the capital where he proposed on the steps. I believe his exact words were, "We went to Katz's which is something you've done before, went to see the bats which you've never done before, and now we're at the capital where you've been before to do something you've never done before. Will you marry me?" I burst out crying the second he got on one knee and I took the ring from him, put it on my finger, and jumped in his arms. I don't remember if I said yes, he says I did.

Just wanted to share the happy news!!! And I'll try to be on here more now that I'm getting settled into my new home!!!

Congratulations!!!!!! I think that from all you've posted about him that you've made the right choice!!!!! I'm excited for you!!!!! Congratulations, again!!!!!!

It's our 22nd anniversary today, so I will wish you longevity and happiness.

I got such a sweet card from Dh today that I actually got all choked up reading it. He's rarely a romantic, so this kind of swept me off my feet. I hope that your man is still doing that to you in 22 years and more.

She finally posted!!! I've been wanting to share the news with you, but thought it best to leave it for Melissa to do. We are all so excited!!! They are soooo happy together. We know that they will be happy long term, and that he will take very good care of her and she of him. They are both faithful Christians, and that is sooo important.

Melissa got home from Europe and found an excuse to move back to school after only one day back at home. Just under one week later, her BF came down and had lunch with hubby and asked for her hand. So we knew what was coming and he proposed that very same evening. Guess he just couldn't wait.

Now a big church wedding to plan!! How exciting!!!!! and also a little sad. Our baby grew up so quickly. Wow!!

Congrats Lissa! I saw this announcement earlier on Myspace, but I've been waiting till you posted here to congratulate you. :) I wish you many years of happiness together!
