Meet Miss Lily
 

My small white female pup was sick so we went to the vet today.
Her ureter is located too high on her bladder for it to be able to empty fully, so she's developed a kidney stone and UTI. We've started her on a 2 week run of antibiotics, 6 weeks of a prescription food to help disolve the stone, and once this is all cleared up we will determine whether she might need surgery to reposition her ureter.

I've set up a crate for her in the house and pretty much resigned myself to the fact that by the time we're done with all of this I'm going to be too attached to her to let her go. (Might as well be realistic) LOL

So I'd like you all to meet Miss Lily.

You know you want to keep her anyway...lol she's beautiful. Poor Miss Lily, what a sad way to start out.

Aww, what a cutie!! I'm so sorry that she's had all of those problems already. Poor little girl. At least it made it possible for her to have the best home ever, right? Gotta look at the bright side. I hope she feels better soon!

She is so sweet looking. What a lucky dog - to be able to have you as her Mommy!

I'm sorry she's got "female issues" though. She'll be fine though, living there with
all of you guys loving her.

Tink, I'm sorry that Lilly has so many problems but at least she's in good hands. I hope that everything straightens out on it's own. She'll be a cutie to keep!!!!

I just keep coming back to look at her...she is so pretty.

That's a large litter. Lots of work. I remember when my brother and his wife had 2 litters at once plus their own kids - it was hectic to say the least.

Lily is such a sweetheart! I clearly can see how you get sooo attached.

How's little Miss Lily?

She's been dubbed Silly Lily much of the time now that she's feeling better. LOL

She's not crying when she goes potty and it's looking much more normal, so things are looking up! She's coming to her name and learning the word NO. Her favorite place is between someones feet, so she's rarely far away whether you're sitting or trying to walk. lol

Moses is becoming more tolerant of her too which is a plus.
