PhotShop Elements 5.0 HELP!!!!!
 

Do any of you know anything about PhotoShop Elements 5.0? The main thing I'm wanting to do is like take an object out of a picture and be able to put it somewhere else. Some of the technical talk is way above me sometimes so I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do.

Create realistic composites. The Background Eraser lets you create professional, seamless composite images. By dragging the tool across an image, you can erase the background without affecting the object (such as a person) in the foreground. Then copy and paste the foreground object into another image to create a composite.

I've never used Elements so I just did a quick google search for something along the lines of "separate an object from the background using Elements 5.0". There were lots of articles, but most weren't helpful so I just went down the list till I got one that seemed to fit your need. Here's the link. I didn't post it because there were lots of other things too and the part you needed was about halfway down. I didn't even think about the fact that you might be interested in the other stuff too! Silly me! :rolleyes: I hope this helps.

I think that it's so great that we all feel that way about each other. I know that I GET so much more than I give on here. It's so hard to explain our friendships to anyone who isn't on here!
