How Many Have Webcams???
 

I rec'd a webcam for Christmas this year and finally got it hooked up yesterday. Do any of you have webcams and use them for instand messaging? I know mine is suppose to take video and pictures, but I don't really need that I don't think. Just thought it would be fun to see who I'm IMing with.:)

Janet - you will really enjoy your webcam. I have one. Id hook you up now so we can chat but I just woke up. I can't show this ugly face to anybody in the morning...It's scary!! :eek:

I don't have a web-cam but here's what I look like right now. I'm still in my pajamas. I have on a pink long sleeved shirt with darker pink trim around the V-neckline and I have on pink fuzzy Tinkerbell pajama pants!!! My hair is a mess. I have sleepybugs in my eyes and I'm bare-footed!!! Now you have "mental" picture of me!!!! LOL

Can you visit more than one person at a time on a web cam? Kinda like a video party line? If so, it would be fun to "multiple web" and visit with a few at a time.

Sounds better than me all dressed up...LOL That would be the only problem with having one. I very seldom EVER wear makeup and on weekends I usually don't get dressed till later in the afternoon unless I'm planning on going out. Diana, you have to go get a webcam, think of how much fun it would be.

Oh no!!! This is sounding complicated...you'd have to hook me up????? I thought all I had to do was install the CD and then smile at the camera...LOL Hope it's not to difficult!

I don't know if it's possible or not...we need to ask our resident expert ANGIE!!!!! Maybe she or Brendon will be able to tell us..wouldn't that me really fun?:)

I'm so sorry. I know absolutely NOTHING about webcams. :( I've never even used one. Hopefully someone will be able to help!

Janet, you're so funny!! I just told you how "bad" I looked this morning and now you want to see it!!!!!

I don't wear make-up during the week either unless I'm going somewhere. Usually I only put it on for church. And I stay in my pajamas for a long time in the morning. I am NOT a morning person!

I'll think about the web-cam thing!!!

I, like others here, don't think my attire and hair when I'm online are anything I'd want to show the world. LOL

My fuzzy jammies are lime green which makes my skin tone green, and the other pair are blue with a crazy pattern... certainly not age appropriate for me, but comfy and well loved to lounge around in. I'm really not willing to risk getting committed just yet. :sidesplit:

Is your webcam built in? If so I believe you can click on it in your programs and it will walk you through the process. Also, there is a section in there where it will ask you to add "friends" to your contact list. This is where you'd add the person's email address, etc.

I'm not much help, LOL....But send Mandy a pm since I don't see her on now. She can explain it all so much better than I can.

From what I understand...because I already have Mandy in my IM that all I have to do is push this button and it will ask me who to contact..I'll try it out sometime...I'm in no hurry. If I was, I could make hubby download IM and try it with him, but NAH!!!!

No webcam here, so I'm no help. I have enough trouble keeping up with 4wt. Not sure I'm ready to do much chatting, yet. Besides, for some reason, I'm never online when any of you are. :(

I've notice that!! Seems like you're on mostly early of a morning or later of an evening. Long as you're here and I can read your posts and respond. :)
