Men and their driving!!!!

I CANNOT stand the way my hubby drives! I know some of you know what I am talking about!
He drives like a GRAMPS, he won't pass trucks, GRRRRRR, he won't keep his foot steady on the pedal, so I get motion sick, and he WILL NOT go thru a yellow light!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do feel bad, cuz earlier tonight, he waited and waited to make a left hand turn. So what I meant to say was, "This is sooo stupid sitting here waiting like this..."
ANd what I said was...."You're Stupid...." and thats all that came out!!!!!

He looked at me like...I can't believe you just called me stupid!!! I tried to explain what I really meant to say, but I couldn't quit laughing!!!! Poor Ray!!!!

Neither one of us ever calls each other names. That is one thing we agreed on that no matter how mad we got, we would never stoop to that level!!!

And I called him STUPID!!! I feel so bad, but I don't feel bad about yelling at him for the way he drives!!!!

Ok, I feel better now venting about this!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!

ROLFLMAO!!!! I so agree about men my hubby will go into the middle lane to make a turn but instead of going all the way over he like stops in the middle of the road and then gets over we almost get rear ended all the time!!! Then he leaves the blinker on constantly it drives me crazy i just want to reach over and smack him he also goes way under the speed limit like he's on a sunday drive while we have 10 cars freaking out behind us and i tell him honey the speed limit is whatever it is and could you please go faster. He is also a tail rider How do they get a licence in the first place????

Sheesh!!! I WISH mine would slow down!! And I wish he would quit trying to multi-task while he's driving... he's always playing with his Blackberry or the radio or eating or drinking while he's driving. His SUV always has coffee splashed all over the console!

And we live in New Jersey where the roads are congested and the cars are moving fast! He's never had an accident, but there is always a first time....

And just what is it about picking a parking spot that is so difficult???????

You'd think it was as hard as replacing the toilet paper or something.:D

Oh geez....don't even get me started on parking spaces!! GRRRR! We have gotten to the point, that I get sooo tired of driving around in circles for about 15 minutes, waiting for the perfect spot, and then still ending up in the furthest space away we can possibly get!!!!! that hubby now knows to drop me off at the door, and I just go ahead with out him. And I make him pick me up at the door! So that is one less arguement we now have! HAHAHAH!

LOL! What a great thread! When Sam and I first met, HE was the one who drove "fast", pulled out in front of people, etc. while I was the "slow", cautious driver. After we married, we moved to the greater New Orleans area as he was a deputy sheriff with Jefferson Parish. Driving was a NIGHTMARE for this country girl - I learned real quick to either put the pedal to the floor and go or get my butt run over!! When we moved back to Mississippi (that's a whole other story), I brought the driving habits back with me and continue to drive a tad bit on the faster side while hubby has slowed down :p

LOL! My hubby scares me when hes driving too. Im constantly braking from the passenger seat, lol! He doesnt take any precautions when it comes to other people on the road. When someone in front of him is stopping to turn he wont slow down, he says if they dont move by the time I get there then thats their fault!

My husband bitches about how I drive yet he's the one that constantly tries to run us off the road! That's why I'm the family chauffeur!

I always drive too, my husband is always looking around. Drives me nuts. I feel safer riding with my son on his beginners permit than with my husband.

My bf's driving scares me sometimes! We live in the mountains, so we're always on these windy roads -- some aren't too bad -- but boy does he go fast! I mean, I know I go somewhat fast on them, but nothing like him.

Whenever I am "helping" my husband drive he always says. "Honey, what did I ever do all those years alone driving w/out your help? It's always so nice you help me get where I am going." and then he laughs. I am sure under his breath he says "Shut up and let me drive!"...Then I laugh!! :D
