Dentist
 

I went a new dentist a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't been in a year.
Got my not so pearlie whites cleaned. My new dentist is a competitive bodybuilder. WOW.. He's got a set of arms. Any who. I ended up having 3 cavities. SO i went to day to get 2 of them filled. They told me that they weren't that deep and that if I wanted they wouldn't have to give me a shot to numb it.
I thought ok. So i got 2 teeth filled with out anything. It was great. I was extremely nervous but it didn't hurt at all and I was only in the chair for 30 minutes. Just wanted to share. Thanks:cool:

I don't like to hear about having teeth filled, especially right before we go to the dentist. We go in the morning for our annual checkup. I always tell my husband that it's my favorite day of the year because it means that I don't have to go again for a whole year!!!

It sounds like you got by really good. Getting your cavities filled without the shots. And your dentist is a body builder? Wow!!! Mine is just an old man!!!! Ok, he's really just a few years older than me!!! LOL!!!!

I haven't been to the dentist for a couple years...I know that is bad!! We don't have dental insurance and well, all the money went for Ricky's braces. I'm hoping to be able to go this summer...we'll see.

Well now, that's spicy! A hot dentist. Hmmmmm.....

As a kid, my dentist was an old army dr who was rough, impatient and just plain mean. He looked like a gnome... no wonder I still hate dentists! LOL

Oh my Tink, that would be scary to have a gnome for a dentist...LOL. I don't blame you for not like them.

I went to a dentist that was an old army dentist too when I was little. He was so rough and because of him I still don't like going to the dentist. I remember him pulling some teeth and he literally took pliers and got on top of my chair to pull them out!!! Not fun!!!!

Oh my gosh Diana...I think I would have elevated his pitch a wee bit...if ya know what I mean!!!

I was only about 11 or 12 at the time. I sure wouldn't have put up with that now!!! But being a kid..........

My first husband's dentist did that to him! He put his knee on his chest and yanked out his tooth. Then he took the pliers and threw them back into the sink he had taken them out of. I stood there with my mouth open. It was like watching a 3 Stooges movie.

OMG!! THAT IS HORRIBLE!!!!

It's okay. As it turned out, he deserved it!
