Son is home sick
 

My son stayed home from school today sick and of course won't be going to work tonight either. He has a temp over 100 and a very sore throat. Our Dr. is out on Wednesday's so if he's not better (which I doubt) I'll have to call him tomorrow morning.

That horrible flu is going around so I hope he doesn't have it for long. He was fine last night, but this morning, not feeling too great.

No matter how old they get...I hate for him to be sick.

Hope your baby's feeling better soon. Hubby's home with a headache and bad tummy. One of the girls I work with (and cover for) has been out all week. They're calling it a stomach flu here. Hope I'm not next!

Seems the viruses are hitting all over.
They're saying the flu shots totally missed the mark this year, too which stinks. Just means more people are getting sick.

It sounds just like what Jaci had. A headache, fever over 100*, and a really bad sore throat. After a couple of days her fever finally got below 100* but the sore throat and headache took a little longer to get over. She finally went back to school today. I had told her that she couldn't go back until her fever was down so this morning I asked her if her fever had gone down and she looked at me and grinned and shrugged her shoulders. That little stinker was still running a low grade fever but she's been so tired of being home so I just let her go.

I sure hope that Rick gets better soon. Jaci was sick from Friday until Tuesday (unless you want to figure that she's still running a bit of fever!!!) I figured that it was a virus and I didn't take her to the doctor.

Rick, take care of yourself and don't drive you Mother crazy while you're home sick!! Ok? Get well soon!!!!!:getwell: :bleh:

Same here in NJ, the flu is going around. I'm blaming the crazy weather, one day it's 60F and the next, like today, it's 15F! :mad:

Rick's still home sick today, but feeling a big better. Dr. wasn't in yesterday so I called this morning. They said it sounds like what everyone else has here and are calling something in to the pharmacy for him. I'll need to go pick it up here in a bit.
