Can you imagine the nerve?

My infamous meth head neighbors just don't seem to "get it". We've told them and the local cops have told them to keep their paws off our border line fence... so today they had their DOG chained up to it! They have to know how much we dislike them. They know full well that we put the fence just inside our border so if they touch it they're trespassing... still they do this!?!?

Katies bf was here when I noticed the dog was tied to our fence so he volunteered to go tell them to move her for me. They moved her as soon as he asked... but am I expecting too much from these people to just want them to leave us and our stuff alone?

Tink, do you have No Trespassing signs up?? I guess that wouldn't help with that group, do you want to borrow Jenny's Rottweiller for a week or so? He looks and sounds scary, but he's a pussy cat. He's up there already in cheese country!!:)
I feel sorry for the poor tied up dog.

Kat, in Wisconsin 'No Trespass" is assumed by law unless you have written permission to come on the property. We've had major problems with these neighbors, and put up the fence BECAUSE of them. The last time the cops were out here about this, (They'd tore down the neighbor on their other sides fence) they instructed the neighbors to not touch the fence and wrote in their notes that we had stated to the neighbor in front of the cop that we do not want them on our property at any time, for any reason. We hired a surveyor to determine the legal boundary before putting up the fence and put the posts about an inch inside of our line so this should not be an issue.

So they're lucky I didn't just call the cops on them. I certainly could have!

Now that the weather is soon to be better, I sure hope you don't have to put up with their nonsense all spring/summer. You'd think they would learn or at least have a bit of common sense. Next time I would call the cops and press charges...what jerks!

I can't believe that you're still having trouble with these neighbors!! You'd think that they would have learned by now to leave you alone. Maybe you should take up target practicing nearby with your trusty shotgun!!! Make sure that they're home to see how good you are!!! :sidesplit:

They are lucky I'm not their neighbor instead of Tink. I'm a great shot and it's one of my favorite things to do ....and that's with a firearm or bow/arrow. I've done both since I was old enough to carry one.

Tink 03-27-2008 03:31 PM

LOL ladies don't tempt me! We have a nice handy collection of firearms... I just don't think anyone over there is worth going to prison over. My guess is they'll end up there themselves in time so I just need to wait them out.

Gina 03-27-2008 05:17 PM

Gee Tink what a bummer, just call the cops and let them handle it. You never know with these people what they will do. You and your family don't want to go to jail for them they are not worth it. Good luck.

I didn't say to "shoot" them. I said to have target practice in "front" of them!!!! No jail time involved!!!

LOL Kat, all of my dogs are hunting breeds, (poodles do in Europe what Labs do here) but I'm not sure they wouldn't just all go hide if I started firing a gun off. I'm not sure about the 2 labs, 'cause they were older when I got them, but the 2 poodles and the labradoodle haven't been introduced to anything like that yet. It could be quite a show with me shooting and 5 dogs scattering in different directions. :D

I'd probably drive up there to see that, That would make a great avatar pic for me.LOL

I'm waiting for a newbie from YT to finish registering, her name is Deb22. I play word games with her over there. The more the merrier.
