Oprah!!! Pregnant Man?????

I am in total shock if this is true. On Oprah this afternoon, there is suppose to be a man that is pregnant. I've got to watch this for sure and then on Friday is the puppy mill report. Good week for Oprah for sure.:)

Darn It, I just missed it. It comes on here at 9:00 AM, I'll try to remember to watch the repeat at 11:00 tonite. I'm gonna go look on the Oprah site right now and see what the scoop is. I promise not to the ending!!! LOL
I heard some gossip on the "Ask a question thread"!!!..... :sidesplit:

Katie was saying some show had a pregnant man on a few days ago.
Well I have a tough time believing that one...

She's a Woman that wants to be a Man, and now She's PG
I feel so sorry for the child, how confusing will that be growing up.
Definately a Maury Povich type of show!!! IMO

That's what it is???? A woman trying to be a man? Then that's false advertising. I just couldn't figure out how a man could carry a child.

I am not an Oprah I must admit. Is she lowering her standards? I am sorry but if a person is born a woman there ins't much that can be done to change it. Yeah you can change the looks and move things around but that still doesn't make it true.. Just my opinion..

I've read about this on the internet! Isn't this world confusing?

I was looking at the commercials and 'he' does have feminine eyes. Don't know if I want to watch it or not.

AMEN GIRL !! I just don't agree with sex change operations, what God made you is what you are!

I really don't know how I feel about this. VERY mixed emotions.
I can't imagine how desperately unhappy with ones self you would have to be in order to go to the extreme measures some go to to change their outward appearance. Surgery is surely no fun; messing with your bodies hormones can be total misery... so that to me says these' people aren't just doing it for the attention. They have a real desperate need.

My heart goes out to them but I can't pretend to understand.

I just have to say EWWWW! This just isn't natural. I have to wonder if all of the hormones she has been taking to talk like a man and look like a man will hurt the baby. Talk about confusing a child later on down the road. Well honey, I am your mom but I look like a man. At least when lesbians have kids they call themselves moms and they same goes for gay men calling themselves dads. THis is just soo messed up.

I think he was a woman and changed to a man and is pregnant. He has a wife, too! Not my cup of tea!

Although i do think it is confusing... i don't find it disgusting... i think the "man" is actually with a woman, she just couldnt have kids...in an unconventional way, i think it's kinda sweet... plus, who is to say that they won't make amazing parents...they are different, true...but lots of "conventional" "normal" couples make horrid parents, and we don't stop them from making and "raising" babies...

as for the cross-over thing... there are people who claim that they are male/female "inside" even though their outward appearance indicates the opposite, which is why now we distinguish between "sex" (biological) and gender (male/female)

rivermom 04-04-2008 04:58 AM

Bottom line is this person is NOT a man. It's just a women having a baby.

Yes, it's a woman who wants to be a man but she is what she is....Female.
