One of the Puppies May Be Leaving!

In a different thread, I posted that a lady came yesterday to see the puppies. Well, she called a little while ago and she and her husband will be coming back at 6:30 PM to buy a puppy. She said it will either be Jenna or Fluff.

I am literally sick...those two are my favorite. I'm so anxious to find out which one they will pick...I sure hope it's not Jenna, but I sure hope it's not Fluff...oh dear.

I know exactly how you feel. We have maybe one or two litters a year and when it is time for them to go to their forever homes I begin crying at least a week in advance. The day they are scheduled to leave I have to warn the new families that I can't help it ... I just cry buckets. ((( hugs )))

Awwww! That must be so hard!

Sending you a hug!

NO...............not Jenna, there goes my good mood down the drain.

The good news is you have a little time to think about whether or not you really want to keep either of them. If there's one you want, you can tell the family that particular puppy is already spoken for. I'm sure you'd have trouble saying good-bye to any of them.

Aww Janet! I would think that the toughest part of breeding is the letting them go part. :( Just imagine how happy this little girl (whichever they choose) is going to make her new family. They are getting a lovely, spoiled, well-socialize, beautiful little girl...all thanks to you!

Awww, Janet. I'm so sorry that you have to say goodbye to one of your little ones. I'd be upset over it too. Give her extra lovins from me too!!!

Janet it is hard to give them up. If you must just be thankful for a happy loving family. :)

Well, it's 7:30 now, just checking in to see which pup got a forever home.

Jenna went to her new forever home this evening. It makes me sad, but I really think I would be sadder if Fluff had gone. I did cry, Jenna just looked at me as she left. I told them that Jenna will always have a home here if she needs it.

They are very nice people and were able to bring the Yorkie they already have to see if it would be a good fit. They both took to each other right away. It's a really good fit, but I'm gonna miss that little girl.

katcarasella 04-07-2008 05:07 PM

Oh, I'm gonna miss her little pictures, but maybe they'll e=mail you some so we can see what a pretty girl she's gonna be later.
 to you Janet

Awww, I know you will miss her. I am glad that you found a good home for her. I really wish my DH would let me get another.

Do you ever get the chance to hear about the pups after you place them? I think it would drive me crazy not knowing how they are doing. Pip's breeder has a clause in her contract that we have to contact her twice a year to give her an update - we send birthday and Christmas pictures to her.

Yes, I do get to hear from them again and do get pictures occasionally. I love it. I've been blessed so much when it comes to my Yorkies, their babies and the homes I've been able to send them to. I've only had to turn away two people, but I'm picky as h*ll where they go. If they can stand the scrutiny I give and don't give me an attitude, they've passed the first test.

Jenna was the first thing on my mind when I crawled out of bed this morning. I usually walk to the puppies and tell them good morning and love on them a bit before I take the adults out and it worried me how I would react to see only three of the girls. I will call them later this evening to see how she got along through the night last night.

I'm glad but sorry to hear you sold one of your puppies. I know you're sad about Jenna but sounds like she's going to a good home and will have the company of another dog.
