Sad Day
My son leaves this afternoon, going back to Iraq. Jeff and his girls came in yesterday evening and he asked me to take him to the airport because it's very tough on him leaving his babies. You'd think it would be getting easier, but it's not. I went in to tell my boss that I'd be leaving at lunch and I started crying. He says he's going to quit and be home to stay before Christmas. Jeff's such a good man and at 320#s, he's the biggest baby I know. He and I are both cry babies. I'm praying!

I can't even begin to understand what you're going through. I will keep you and your son in my prayers.
Will you please tell him for me...thank you! Two small words, but in my heart they mean so much. |
Sandy, I can't imagine how hard it is to have your son go to Iraq. I'll say a prayer for his safety and for you and his family. I'm with Janet in appreciation for all that he and so many others are doing over there, but I know that it's a big sacrifice on their part in being separated from their families. {{{{{Sandy}}}}}

I am so sorry you have to watch your son leave again. I will pray for his safety and for you and his girls to be able to deal with this.

My prayers are with your son. And THANK YOU for having such a brave son.
I know it must be very heartbreaking but you must be very proud at the same time. THANK YOU. |
So sorry that you son is returning to such a different & dangerous world and so far away from you all. I will pray for his safety and that he returns to you all very soon. And yes, thank you for going through this for our country. Is he in the military or a private contractor since you say he may quit before Christmas?

What a hard thing for all of you to go through. I will keep you all in my prayers.
Thank you Jeff. God is watching over you. |
