She's a bit freaked out from her long car ride and then being brought to a strange house with so many other dogs, but Snuggles and Chip are already inviting her to play, so I think she will settle in quickly enough. Her color is pretty, when she perks her ears her head looks very typical lab... she could stand to gain a few lbs but I've been told my dogs always do carry a few extra, ;) so she should be good. She's not too scared to eat, so has already filled her belly which is a good sign. |
Tink, She's beautiful, and what a pretty name. Welcome home Hickory!!!!:welcome:

Oh, Tink, she is beautiful!!!! Can't wait to see the pups!!!!! Wow, this is a cool biology experiment you have going on, and so good that we all get to share in the experience with you!!!
|
Thanks Ladies, I'm excited.
Marilyn you're right about the experiment part. :D I'm learning more about canine genetics than I ever dreamed and find that even though it's a really complicated subject, for the most part I find it fascinating. Just the study of the color codes is interesting, to say nothing of all the other issues. |
Tink Hickory is beautiful. I know she will be very happy with you. She is a lucky girl to have found such a good home. I saw a dog at the groomers when I picked up Chipper and knew instantly what kind because of you. He was a beautiful dog named Gus. I asked the groomer what kind he was but I was pretty sure I knew from seeing yours. She said he was a golden doodle. He was stunning.

Oh Tink, she's beautiful! Her color is just awesome. There are going to be some outstanding puppies coming from her.

She is very nice looking Lab. I really do like her color and her coat is so shiny. I am sure she will warm up to everyone soon enough. Congrats on the new addition.
|
Oh wow, Tink!!! Her color is just beautiful!!! Such a warm shade of brown. She's going to be a wonderful addition to your breeding program.
|
What a beautiful dog Tink! Her color is magnificent. I can't wait to see the puppies.
Marilyn is right - we are so happy to share in this breeding experiment. I saw a Yorkadoodle (?) or some name like that. What a cutie! She was about 20 pounds, with a poodle's coat and face, and yorkie coloring. Her owner said she's got a lot of yorkie in her personality too. |
