As we all know Debbie is having her surgery tomorrow, I thought we should say a prayer for her.

A PRAYER FOR THE PATIENT
FACING SURGERY
O God, the source of all health.
Fill her heart with faith.
Be near her in times of weakness and pain.
Although I know You are in control, She is apprehensive about what faces her.
You made her, loved her, and have provided her surgeon with needed skill to perform a miracle on her behalf.
Sustain her by Your grace that her strength and courage may not fail;
Heal her according to Your will.
Amen.

Oh Lord, we ask that you place your healing hands on Debbie during her surgery - please guide the hands of her doctors and restore her to good health.

1 The person who rests in the shadow of the Most High God
will be kept safe by the Mighty One.

"He is my place of safety.

You will crush mighty lions and poisonous snakes.
14 The Lord says, "I will save the one who loves me.
I will keep him safe, because he trusts in me.
15 He will call out to me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in times of trouble.
I will save him and honor him.
16 I will give him a long and full life.
I will save him."

Debbie, you and your family are in my prayers. Know that you are in God's healing hands.

God who are the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant to Debbie such a consciousness of your indwelling and surrounding presence that she may permit you to give her health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Guardian Angel, watch over those whose names you can read in my heart. Guard over them with every care and make their way easy and their labours fruitful. Dry their tears if they weep; sanctify their joys; raise their courage if they weaken; restore their hope if they lose heart, their health if they be ill, truth if they err, repentance if they fail.
