 Taco Soup

There are many variations to this recipe. It's WONDERFUL for a cold winter's night. Just make some homemade cornbread and you're good to go!
TACO SOUP 1 lb ground beef (browned and drained) 1 pk Taco seasoning 1 pk Ranch dressing (powder kind for dressing NOT dip) 1 can Corn (undrained) 1 can Rotel (undrained) 1 can beans (your choice undrained) shredded cheese Brown your meat and drain off fat. Transfer to a large pot. Add the Taco and Ranch seasoning packets and all of your canned items. Heat to boiling. Spoon into your soup bowls and add shredded cheese. Serve with a side of cornbread. |

Rotel is tomatoes and green chilies together. You can buy it in the section with the canned tomatoes at your grocery store! |

Looks wonderful!! I am so excited now that the weather is cooler, all the soups sound so great!

Here's another one that our family likes:
Fiesta Soup 1 lb. ground meat browned 2 cans Progresso Minestrone Soup (Original) 1 can water 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chili's any brand will work) 1 can Ranch Style Beans Mix all ingredients bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Great with cornbread & this recipe freezes will. I double it and freeze half for another time. |
