bad storm last night.
 

Wow did we have a bad storm last night, the wind was kicking, I took Micah for his walk like i do everynight around 6:00 pm, we were about 7 blocks from my house, and the dark clouds came up so fast, boy did we book it home, Mike was looking for us.. that was the fastest walk i think Micah's every been on :eek:

Ours came on Sunday night and it came up fast too.

We had a storm too, but not that bad. They're looking in Newburgh, NY, which is upstate to see if certain damage was caused by a tornado or just very strong winds.

I was actually in the mood to walk last night, i couldn't believe how fast it snuck up on us, it actually scared me, the thunder, Micah was like what the heck Mom why are we moving so fast! That was a quick workout ! i try and walk a couple miles with him, he loves to walk with me.. we look at everything, and i tell him what they are, we look at the flowers, trees, dogs, birds, rabbits.

We've had some really severe weather. It seems like about every other day we're in a storm watch. We're definitely ready for it to dry up!!! Too bad that we can't spread all this rain out over the summer when we need it!!!

Is everything okay there in Kansas? We still have some high water here in southern Indiana, but it's going down. Bad thing is, it's suppose to rain a lot toward the end of the week.

I feel so bad for those people in Iowa. Such a tragedy. Too many bad things happening, floods, tornados, earthquakes. Not good.

We're too wet to get any crops planted still. We had rain most of the day on Monday and rain again this morning (Wednesday) with more expected tomorrow (50% chance). Our flood water that we had on Friday was back down on Saturday.

Rain, rain. Go away.

We just had a bad thunder storm tonight. (Wed) I actually love them as long as I don't have to drive in it. The thunder was sooo loud!

Yep Terry us too. It was down pouring, thunder, lightning. Really bad but didn't last more then a couple of hours. Beautiful today, which I'm glad as I'm taking the boys and their friends to Great Adventure. I don't do the rides because I'm a big chicken but I do get the pleasure of carrying all their crap around for them and their friends. LOL. Elaine

That's funny Elaine, you sound just like me, roller coasters just turn my stomach anymore, We went to Florida last month, and my Mom was in a power scotter cause of her heart, so i had my baby with me, we stayed on the ground while everyone else rode the coaster, we had fun we shopped while they rode everything, and yep i got stuck holding everything, changing diapers, feeding the baby, running and getting drinks and water for everyone.

Oh man I'm glad my diaper days are over. LOL. A few weeks back hubby asked me if I thought I'd like another baby. I looked at him and said "Ah yeah no, I'd rather have dental surgery done without Anastasia and besides convertibles don't fit car seats." LOL. No, I do miss having them young but not enough to do it again. Ha ha. Elaine

Every one is laughing at me i'm already trying to potty train him, i got the sitting part part dowen, he loves to play with the potty chair, now the next step is just to get him to go on it LOL..
Yep no more kids for me, i do want another baby only if things at home improve..
But again i'm getting old, it's getting harder to chase kids around, and i don't think i can function at work again on 3 hours of sleep, glad them days are almost done to.. Been living on coffee.... I make it so strong at work the guys call it tar coffee!

It is been raining w/ thunder and lightning just about every night since Sat. Today the sun is finally shining.. yayay..

Elaine you remind me of me...lol when my kids were young I would take them with my girlfriend and her kids to Great Adventures.. I was always the one watching the bags, and stuff. Too chicken to go on the rides...I did go on the merry go rounds and the water fume that ride is awesome esp. on a hot day. Try it!!...My g/f is a little older than I am boy at the time she would go on the batman ride and all the cylcones that loop under.. CRAZY I use to call her.. But she had a ball. Enjoy 6 flags! :)

It's going to be beautiful here today...high 81. It's been like this the last few days and I'm able to turn the air off and open all the windows and doors. I love it. If it could stay like this year round....I'd be so happy.

We are suppose to have some rain move in this weekend, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed it holds off for awhile.
