Lowes did again !!!
 

Ok this is the 3rd time i am returning my storm doors to Lowes, the first time they were the wrong size! second time they were the wrong brand name, and the one door was suppose to be a full glass door and when i opened it, it was a split glass with a retractable screen, where in the hell did they get that from!!
i have such a headache right now i could scream!! now i have to rush home wait for Mike to load them in my work truck go back to Lowes, then rush home, and plant flowers that i have been trying to do for the last two days...

Same thing happened to me when I bought a new storm door a couple years ago from Maynard's. They gave me a much cheaper door, not even close to what I was supposed to have. Then I had to drive 45 miles to return it!

Hope you get the one you want and that your flowers get planted. Check out the nursery while you are there, they usually have great flower selections.

aaaarrrrgggghhhh! How frustrating!

So sad you are having to deal with this frustrating situation. Hubby has had similiar problems with Lowes. We have a friend working there who helps straighten out the messes, but it's still a hassle.

I returned the door yesterday and the manager Jeff was standing there when i returned it, and i told him this is the second time i am returning doors here and the third time i had to order replacement doors cause of there mistakes! Jeff gave me the door for 1/2 price and i did get my Pella door i wanted. so that paid for my flowers, so i am happy... well see if they screw up these doors.. i hope not summer is almost over and i need these doors in by winter to save on the gas bill..

oh Janet i hope so, this has been going on for months now and it's so frustrating. i just hope there up by winter! :mad:
