I've known about PETA tactics for a while - but didn't realize what some of those other groups had been doing.

I was going to take the dogs to a Humane Society "Woofstock" event today. Maybe not!

Judy, I couldn't get it so load. It locked up my computer. Can you give me the Reader's Digest version?

Even though this is very serious I can't imagine that any organization is going to get our pets taken away from us. Look at how they've tried to take away guns and, thank goodness, we still have them. How are they ever going to enforce having ALL pets spaded or neutered? If they take away our pets we'll just find something else to make a pet like a squirrel, racoon, mouse, or rat. How does it hurt them if I have pets? I tell you what.......let's give all the pet-haters a state to live in? Like............................Utah!!!!!......... ............or the Northern part of Alaska!!!!!!

I NEVER give donations to organizations that I don't understand what they do. As a farmer's wife I refuse to buy anything that donates to Duck's Unlimited because we've had to deal with some of their junk in the past about wetlands. When you think of wetlands you think of swampy ground. Right? Well, that's not exactly what it is. When it comes to soil there are different types and there's types that are wetter than others. We had a farm that just had a big wet spot in it. Not wet enough that ducks and geese wanted on it but just a big mud hole. My husband couldn't make a ditch to help the water to drain off so it would dry up faster because the field was a certain type of soil. He was pretty fustrated with it. The rules or laws or whatever they were were passed using donations to Duck's Unlimited.

I used to work in the SWCD office Diana...and I couldn't agree with you more. I wish our tax dollars would not support that office either, but it does.
