Hubby and I went to see this movie. I love westerns! It's pretty good, not great, but pretty good. I love Ed Harris and Viggo Mortenson and they were both very good. It's got a lot of humor too, which is unusual for a western.

It is rated R because they say the "F" word, just a couple of times and there is a scene where you see a naked man and woman (from the back) in the river - from quite a distance. If not for that, it would be PG 13, for sure.

I'm not big on westerns anymore and I've not heard of this one. I do like Ed Harris though. Very good actor.

I've had a crush on Viggo for years! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I haven't heard of that movie. Too bad that they put those words and actions in there because of that I won't be able to watch it. We don't watch R movies.

Yep, the "f" word and the naked backsides were completely unnecessary!!! They don't bother me, but I do understand that they make what would otherwise be a perfectly good movie, offensive to some.
