OJ sentenced

He can't get out for a least 7 1/2 years.

HOORAY!!!!

That is good news, but I saw Ron Goldman's father and sister on TV this morning. They are glad he finally did not get away with something, but are going to continue going after him to be jailed for murder and to get the money he owes them.

It was a very sad thing to see. I can't really say, but I would imagine that it might be healthier if they mourned for Ron and let it go. They seem to have no lives.

OJ is a vile human being and will have to face God one day.

I'm sure he won't like what they will do to him in jail. But that's what he gets for doing what he did. I just can't see the hype about some of these athletes that
think they are better than anyone else and our kids look up to the. Not good.

judy 12-05-2008 02:03 PM

What's up with the latest one? He shot himself???? He had an unlicensed gun from what I heard on the news. They are coming down really hard on him. It is about time, but I don't get it. There are athletes who have done far worse. Did they get punished too? I'm not taking his side or saying that he shouldn't get whatever he's getting.

(I obviously don't keep up with sports)

I agree with you Judy. I am so thankful that I am a person that can forgive and forget. The Goldmans have wasted so many years, they just can't let go. So sad.

I'm so glad he was convicted and now jailed. BUT...what kind of luxury jail is he going to?

pope1982 12-05-2008 07:39 PM

:cheer: Arrogant fool. He kidnapped men and stole for HIS OWN STUFF!
Probably won't get better treatment than Casey Anthony
Congratulations Goldman and Simpson families. :congrats:

Where is Casey Anthony? Is she in jail yet? I sure hope so. That poor, innocent little girl. I pray that she is in the arms of angels now.

Yes, she is still in jail. They are not going to go for first degree murder.
That girl is SICK in the head.

I heard on the radio that he's going to a normal state prison. He will be in an 8' x 10' cell and will get no special treatment. Wonder how he will be treated by the other inmates and by the guards though? With wealth and fame come lots of temptations and problems.

Good! I'm glad it's not some place where he can go play golf for good behavior. I just hope the other immates and guards treat him the same as every other killer. He deserves it for what he did even though his sentencing was not for murder.

Wealth and fame doesn't always corrupt. There are many famous, wealthy people that do tremendous things. Yet there are some that just can't handle it and fall to the wayside.

Wrong, they are not going to seek the death penalty.

I can't believe that in this case that Casey is still not under arrest!!! It certainly sounds like she had to have killed her poor little daughter. There's a lot of evidence to prove it but they don't have a body yet. So sad.

donna1990 12-08-2008 11:27 AM

Casey is still in jail, they just are not going to seek the death penalty.
She said in a phone conversation that she couldn't tell anyone where Kaylee is, to protect the family. She is a mental case. Nancy Grace stays on top of this story. I don't care for Nancy but like the news.

Gina 12-08-2008 02:14 PM

Well OJ got away with murder and I was surprised to hear that he was found guilty. He will be out in no time you watch and see... I have to laugh at our system he gets convicted for robbery but not for killing.. Go figure....

As far as that little Casey it is so heartbreaking... Her mother has to be mentally sick. I hope that they can find that little angels body and put her to rest..
