Well, we got our first arctic front in Texas yesterday and it is DAMN COLD. So, my (wimpy) boyz got to wear their sweaters today. The first couple of pix is to show you how SHORT their hair is - so you can see why my (whimpy) boyz need to wear their sweaters!

1. Dad has a tiny bite of bacon in his hands
2. ditto
3. today (whimpy) boyz in sweaters

Awwww, you must be proud. They have lovely coats.

Gayle, I can understand why your boyz are whimpy!! It's cold out there!!!! Don't know how these northern gals on here can stand it. I've already had enough cold for the season. It's 30 deg here this morning!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Melissa said y'all had a few snow flakes flying around there is Austin Tuesday night. Wow. I'd take a snow day as long as it is during the week and I can stay home from work and get our Christmas tree up. It's been in a bucket of water on the back porch for over a week!!

Your boyz are so precious and they look so pretty!!!!!!

awww they're adorable! I don't blame them for wearing sweaters! It's COLD here, and my boys always wear something in the winter.

Your boyz might be wimpy, but they're cute and smart!

This global warming buzz is crazy! Sheldon, Texas got 2.5" of SNOW last night and the temp stayed around 30, so the g-kids' snow person was still there this morning. With the snow covering the ground, it was so light outside that I kept waking up, thinking it was daylight.

I realized that I'm still the big kid that I've always been proud to be. I was the first one of toss a snowball.

Sandy, I didnt' realize any place in TX got enough snow to cover the ground or have a snowball fight!!! That's AWESOME (as long as it is gone quickly. LOL)

Gayle, I just love your boys!!! They are just too cute! You should really post more pictures.

I had heard on the news this morning that Texas got snow....LOL....now you know what we put up with only with more of it. AND then Tink gets more yet!!! I so want to move somewhere warmer.

Is there a place that is warm in the winter, but not blistery hot during the summer?

DianaB 12-11-2008 08:49 AM

Gayle, your boys are so cute in their little sweaters!!!! I have sweaters for Reuger too but I don't put them on him to go outside because I'm afraid that he'll get caught in the fence. We have a fence around our front yard to keep our big dog, Mollee, from digging up the flower bed but it doesn't keep Reuger in. He knows where all the larger holes are that he can escape through!! I don't worry about it too much since we live so far from the main road. The gates been open lately because Mollee won't dig in the winter..................hmmmmm, maybe I should get Reuger's sweaters out again.

My Yorkies didn't want to step one paw out in the snow, but the ShihTzu trudged right on out.

The g-kids stayed home from school today and were still playing in it at around 10am. Christian called to ask if she could use a pair of my jeans to put on over hers to make a snow angel. Here's a picture from our backdoor, about 9pm. It snowed for another 3 hours, about 7 hours total.

Janet, I'd love to have you live close to me, but you'd have to get used to the blistering August heat.

The snow looks really pretty on your bushes, Sandy!!! We still have snow on the ground from a couple of days ago but it's not very pretty.

donna1990 12-11-2008 12:37 PM

I love their haircuts, precious.
You got snow and it got up to 83 here yesterday.
I have a table just like the one with the dog toys on it.

Beautiful pic Sandy.

San Diego is not warm in the winter, but not cold either and it doesn't get vry hot there in the summer. It is beautiful, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Gayle - the boys are so adorable. I like the short haircuts, and their coats are very dashing. Their coloring is great.

Thanks Judy! I do love their coloring - they are not the traditional dark Yorkies - they are light silver on their backs, but with lots of reddish hair and as they get older the hair on their faces and legs is getting redder. Now that I know more about Yorkies, their dad was almost all reddish. I loved his color when I saw him, but knew nothing about what color Yorkies are "supposed" to be.
