My University of Texas women's basketball team will be visiting your neck of the woods on Monday! They play Purdue Monday evening. Isn't that pretty close to where you live?

Yes it is Gayle....Purdue is about 35 minutes from me. I don't follow the team so I guess it's okay for me to wish your team good luck!! I will be checking the news though for the ending score.

Oh Good! We need you rooting for us - it will be hard to go to Purdue's homecourt and get a win!!! The game will be on ESPN2 also.

Gezzz Gayle!! I read this and thought "GREAT" she's coming to Indiana, but i guess you will be watching the game on ESPN huh. Sure would be nice for you & hubby to make a trip north someday. Janet & I both can be your cheerleaders for your team, we live very close to each other.

I really did think seriously about coming to this game - but this time of the year the weather is just too unpredictable. I'd have to fly into Indianopolis or Chicago and then rent a car. My friend and I thought about it, but we are not used to driving on icy/snowy roads, and that would not be good, especially when we didn't know where we were going!!! Also, sometimes you just can't get into Chicago or Indianopolis and we were afraid that we'd buy the tickets and then couldn't get there for the game. That would suck!!!

Next time though, I'll come and make you all pick me up at the airport and take me to the game!!! :D

And Lynne, I forgot you live right there too!!! I'd get a twofer, if I came! :D :D :D
