Tornado anyone??

We are under a Tornado watch here. The line of storms is over Dallas and headed this way..east!! Tornadoes are popping up everywhere. I guess I'll stay up and listen to the weather. We will have lots of wind and possible hail. These are the kind of storms we have in spring...of course it WAS 75 today:thumbdwn:

Betsi, are you OK? I know you probably had a rough night. We only got a little wind and rain, nothing bad.

I hope you're okay!

Thanks guys...we are fine! We had strong winds, lots of rain and a little hail, but we had no damage:) The biggest problem I had was Jack, our great dane! He HATES storms. Mike gave him 2 valium (prescribed by the vet) but it didn't help much. Poor guy!

Glad all is okay in your neck of the woods.

It's been pouring down rain hard all night and still. Winds have picked up and we are now under a high wind and flooding warning. I can't believe all the flooded out roads this morning.

Be careful of the flooding Janet - that can be really dangerous!!!

We had high winds, rain, lightening and thunder last night - but it was over pretty quickly. No damage.

We had the bad storms here too. Goofywife (Michelle) lives near Norman, Ok, and I imagine that she was probably near the worst of it since they had tornados near Oklahoma City. We had some lightening hit really, really close. We heard it crackle before it hit!! That's way too close in my opinion!!!

I talked to my sil who lives in Norman, OK and they are OK. Edmond (north of Oklahoma City) was hit, but it was north of the city proper. The worst damage was in southern Oklahoma near the Texas border just west of I-35, where 9 people were killed.

Betsi, glad they missed you. There has been some strange weather around the country.

I just hope that it's not another wierd spring. We've already had our flood of the century!!!!
