It's RAINING, it's POURING....
 

It's been raining here all afternoon, alot!!!! It's supposed to rain again tomorrow...my yard is so happy!! We have already turned the sprinklers on in the front yard to water twice a week...we don't have any in the back yard. I think I will go to bed early to read and listen to the rain:)

Yay....I bet if you listen real closely you can hear your grass singing...

Hey Betsi! Send some of that rain northwest. We had some yesterday but not enough. It is supposed to rain today, but you never know........

Seriously, I know how your grass feels! Mine would be so happy with a couple of days worth of rain!!! (and so would my pocketbook, via the water bill :))

I'm doing a rain dance here! They keep telling us it's going to rain tomorrow, but TOMORROW NEVER COMES.

It's been rainy here today too. It's good, but it makes the day feel so gloomy!

Oh my goodness..we are having a BAD storm!! There are tornado warnings all around us!! The thunder and lightening is very heavy. We had to give Jack, our great dane, 2 valium because he is SO scared of storms:eek:

We are suppose to get some rain here to, starting tomorrow. Gayle I hope it comes your way. If not us ladies will have to do a rain dance.. lol

Whew...the bad storms over! We didn't have any damage, and I'm SO thankful for he rain!

We didn't have as much rain as I would have liked, but any rain is GREAT! We did have a bad thunderstorm this evening too, Betsi. We were in a tornado alert area, but there weren't any tornadoes here. Parts of the city did have bad hail, but I didn't have any at my house. When I saw the storm headed our way on radar, I ran out and put bird netting over the garden - which I needed to do anyway, cuz our strawberries are beginning to turn pink and the birds will eat them if they are not covered with netting.

My daughter was caught out in the hail storm, but was able to get under a shelter so her car was OK. Her friend was not so lucky. She was driving and the hail broke the back window of the car. Her baby was in the carseat in the back seat and he got hit with some glass, but he is OK. Scary!!!!

We didn't get any rain last night. It all went north of us. We've had around an inch of rain so far this year. Not nearly enough.

Saw where the storms produced a tornado in Mississippi or Tennessee and heading toward Atlanta today. Wow. Only bad thing about spring is the tornado season. Hope you all get the rain you need.

Thank goodness your daughter's friend and baby were alright. That would have been really scary with the baby in the back seat.

I'm glad to hear that the hail missed your little garden. Nothing's worse than losing all the work that you've done. At times we have hail storms where farmers lose whole fields. It's a sad site, especially when you know that they've lost their income from it.

The rain is here in PA, its been pouring all day now, figures i have another dentist apt. tonight... fun, fun,,,
