Address Plaque
 

I got a $100 certificate to Amazon.com from my credit card rewards. I usually don't carry cash and charge everything on my debit card as a credit card. This way, it comes right out of my checking account, and I can't buy it if I can't pay for it.

So, armed with my $100, I am going to buy a beautiful address plaque for my house. My door is red, and the house is white with a brown roof. I'm going for the reds. I already ordered a red "B" to hang on the front. I also ordered a bunch of angel statues for the porch and the steps, and I'm going to get a plant for the porch.

Here are some address plaques I found. Tell me what you like, please.

LOL...I like the first one, it looks light and welcoming. Maybe I should look for one. All I have are the house numbers on the mailbox.

I like the first and the last one. If I were buying one for myself, I'd buy the first one because I love to decorate with leaves.

I'm with Diana, the first and last ones are what I'd be torn between....good luck..

Judy you are putting it on the door right? If so I would go with the first and bottom second... :rolleyes:

I'm with Gina. The first or bottom second, if it's on the door. The last one is nice, but a little heavy looking for a door.

For a door, probably the bottom second would be first choice.

Here are some pix of the front of the house and some of the statues. The little table on the porch is for a plant. The address plaque is going on the right wall of the house, not on the door. I also took some pictures of the bushes in bloom. I didn't know they flowered, so I was pretty happy.

I can't use my Amazon gift certificate. The plaques are from external websites and they don't accept it. I was really annoyed and called Amazon. They said these companies pay them to advertise on Amazon. I told her that was false advertising! She said it wasn't because they pay Amazon . I asked her what I got out of this deal, except that it wasted a lot of my time. I'll have to pick out a cheaper one. Annoying!!!

Oh, Judy, how beautiful!! You have azaleas!!! I love azaleas, but they just won'd grow here. The soil is too alkaline. You can grow them, but you have to feed them acid, and give them very special care. You are so fortunate to have such a nice place!!!

I wouldn't have been too happy with Amazon either. You'd think that Amazon could advertise their own products not products that take you off of their site!
