I hurt.....

I usually hurt when I first get up in the morning but yesterday I hurt much, much worse. My feet and my hands were really bad so I didn't do much yesterday. I called a new doctor and the best they could do to get me in was this morning. I was really impressed by her. She asked a lot of guestions and was truly concerned about what is going on, unlike my other doctor. I'm definitely changing doctors. She had me go over to the hospital and do some blood tests and a urine sample. She had several possibilities, none good, but hopefully once we find out what's wrong it can be helped with meds. She changed one of my meds for arthritis to something that will hopefully be better than what I'm taking. So I'm not having a very fun day.

Ain't that the truth!!!! The doctor threw out several possibilites of what could be wrong and none of them good. I think that I know what's wrong but I'm going to let her diagnose it. I'm not a doctor. Thanks so much for your positive vibes, Kat!! I'm sending some your way too.

Diana....I don't want you to be hurting. Seems like this last month or two....we've all had something going wrong. Sure hope it stops for all of us and healthier days are soon to be here.

How long before you know the results?

Blueyes 06-19-2009 12:56 PM

Diana, I'm glad you found a doctor you have confidence in! It's important to be taken seriously! Feel better girl:hug:

The doctor likes to actually take longer than we had today for an exam so I have another appointment for July 7th. I'm suppose to have a mamogram in a few days then when I go back we'll have the results of the tests, the mamogram test, and the blood test that I'm doing at the health fair tomorrow to discuss.

I don't remember if I said that she changed one of my meds. I took it awhile ago with lunch and I'm starting to feel some relief from the pain. It's still there but not quite as acute.

Jaci's been so nice to me. I haven't felt like doing much and she's just jumped in and done so much!!! She's cleaned the kitchen for me several times!! I'm so proud of her!!!

Aww Diana so nice to hear that Jaci is helping you. You take care and I hope that your feeling better real soon.

Janet 06-20-2009 04:50 AM

Jaci must really be a wonderful daughter. It's nice that she is helping you out. I hope you get to feeling better really quick and I'm praying your tests are clear and full of good news.

Jaci is a wonderful daughter!! I think that she's been worried about me because I haven't been feeling the best. Glen has the kids all asking how I'm doing and I think it's because Jaci's talking to them about how I'm feeling. They kinda' have their own way of communicating with each other. It's cute unless they're complaining about me, which does happen.

Diana, so hope that you feel better soon, and that there isn't anything too serious that is causing the problems. Hope Jaci is taking good care of you this weekend!!!

judy 06-21-2009 09:41 AM

I'm so glad the new medicine is helping, Diana. I'm praying that this is not anything too serious.

DianaB 06-22-2009 02:39 PM

I'm still hurting but it's not quite as bad. Getting up first thing in the morning is bad. And I get tired easily, but I think it wears me out when I start hurting.

gja1000 06-25-2009 09:35 AM

Diana, are you feeling any better? I sure hope so!
