Look at my daughter's new baby!
 

A new baby Brussels Griffon, that is. Did you ever see the movie with Jack Nickolson,
"As Good As It Gets"? If so, the dog that Jack ends up keeping for awhile and getting very attached to was a Brussels Griffon. His name was Verdell. My daughter's new pup is a female and she just got her today. She's 14 weeks old - the breeder wouldn't let her go till she was 14 weeks old (good breeder). We have been racking our brains for a couple of weeks trying to think of a name. Well, when she brought her home today, all I could think of when I looked at her was VERDELL! So I think she is going to call her Della - but I will call her Verdella when I see her, I am sure! :D

Gayle....I don't know if I think she's cute or not....LOL. I've never seen this breed as a baby. Congratulations on the new grand-doggie.

Awwwwwwww I think she is too cute:p, I remember that movie well. Like Janet, I had never seen this breed as a puppy, but I think all puppies are cute. I am such a pushover when it comes to puppies and babies:)

I know what you all mean about not knowing whether or not she is cute. I kinda think she is so ugly that she is cute but - DON'T TELL MY DAUGHTER I SAID THAT!!! She thinks she is absolutely adorable. I'll tell you what though, she is NOT as cute as our Yorkie pups, THAT'S FOR SURE!

She is very laid back, for a terrier and a puppy, and she is extremely lovable, so I think she is going to be a great dog - hope so!

I forgot to say that I love the name too and I think you're right Gayle....she's not ugly, but so different she is cute!! Ya gotta love a puppy no matter what...huh? They love us so quickly.

She's doing great today - but she doesn't want to eat. So, my daughter got some nutrical and some toddler chicken sticks - which is what I had to feed my Rowdy when he was little because he would not eat!!! She is eating a few bites, so I think she will be fine. She is drinking, peeing and pooping, so I"m sure it is just the change. Brooke did not change her food, she is feeding her the same as the breeder.

Cute new grandbaby you have there, Gayle!! I think those little dogs are adorable!

Not my favorite breed, but she is a cute puppy!! and will probably be a wonderful dog. I'm just not one for scrunched noses. Melissa and Garrett have their English Bulldog, and he's really a good dog, but has that scrunched face. I have to admit, now that they've moved out, I do miss Mack. Thought I'd never say that!!!
