Painting Pictures......finally!!!
4 Attachment(s)
Here's the pictures of what I've been painting on. It's not too much wall wise but remember, I had to put on five coats to get it covered!! The wall with the sponge painting was very, very easy!! I have a large sponge that I've had for years that I bought off of TV. I got my idea for the wall sponging from a lamp that I did some time ago that I really like. I hope you enjoy my pictures. I think that I'm going to go ahead and paint the rest of the living room but I'm going to look for a lighter color to go with the red.

Can you drive over here and help me when you are done please? |
It's beautiful Diana!!! What kind of sponge does that kind of design???? It's gorgeous. Judy is right you have an "eye" for decorating and your home is beautiful!!!

Diana..GOSH!! No WONDER it took you so long. That's a lot of work...all those coats!! Your sponged wall in unbelievable!! WOW!! Is the sponge on a roller? You did a great job getting it so even and leaving just enough white in the background...that's hard to do!!!! Congratulations, it's beautiful!

Diana, I saw your pics on FB and really, really like the color. It looks very rich yet country at the same time. You did a very nice job on the sponging.

The sponge that I used was a large hand held sponge with the swirls and design on it. I just made sure that I rotated my hand while I sponged so the pattern didn't look repeated on the wall. It probably took me about 15 minutes to do each color on the sponged wall. It was VERY easy!!! It doesn't show on the pictures but the dark green is actually flat paint while the other paint is semi-gloss. It really gives it a neat look to see it in person.
Judy, I'd love to come and help you decorate or do what ever you'd like to have done. I'm NOT a decorator but I love to put things together. Thanks so much for your compliments!! I love you guys!!! |
You have so much talent. I could never do that in a million years. Great Job.
So Pretty. |
