Grrr...husbands!

Does anybody want my husband? I'm really tired of him today:mad:

paula1961 01-10-2010 05:34 PM

Aww Betsi...what did he do? I know that sometimes they can be a pain but surely you don't want to give him away:D

judy 01-10-2010 06:12 PM

Uh Oh! Mike is in trouble:p

Betsi, it sounds like you need some alone time!

Blueyes 01-10-2010 07:23 PM

I DO need some alone time, lol!! I'm going to Dallas to market this weekend with my sil and girlfriends...but a weekend might not be enough:rolleyes: He had the nerve to tell me today that I never did anything!! I have worked my butt off for 2 solid weeks, so I didn't cook today. BOO-HOO!!!! He's on my last nerve.

Oh no, I don't want yours - I have one that I'd like to farm out from time to time too! I asked him to fold up and hang up some of his hunting clothes today and he had to whine about it!

You HAVE worked your butt off the past couple of weeks with company and everything, plus spent a sleepless night at the hospital with him!! What is he THINKING! Well, he's just not thinking, men do that sometimes (or don't do that!)

The weekend at market in Dallas sounds like a ball! Hopefully, that will help and hey, maybe he will appreciate you more after you've been gone a couple of days!

I have spent TWO nights at the hospital with him. I didn't tell y'all, but I had to take him back to the ER with chest pain Tuesday night. They did ANOTHER cath on him at 4:00 Wednesday morning. Everything is still clear, and they don't have a clue what was causing the pain. Dustin and Joy stayed there with us all night, then they had to leave Thursday at noon.

Mike is feeling fine now. We went to the movie yesterday and had a late lunch out. Then I cooked a big pot of ham and bean soup to take over to my brothers for the ball game.

Ambulance, 2 heart caths, 2 nights up all night, 4 extra adults and 3 kids....in the last week and a half:eek: I slept on the sectional with my grandsons all week so Mike could have a bed to himself.

I told him the next time he had chest pain, he better hope I can remember the number to 911:yelrotflmao::yelrotflmao: Just kidding. I have a warped sense of humor:rolleyes:

It sounds to me like he didn't think his comment through. Open mouth....insert husband's foot!!!! I hope you get an apology soon. I'd be fuming too!!!!!

gja1000 01-11-2010 06:15 AM

OH MY BETSI!!! You HAVE been through the wringer!!! O.M.G.

Diana is right, he simply opened mouth, inserted foot - WITHOUT THINKING.

I'm sure he'll come to see the error of his ways soon - probably not too long after spending a weekend alone! :p Maybe even before!

They are something, aren't they? Sometimes, I think testosterone is one of God's practical jokes!

I have a strong feeling that you will show him the error of his ways, and that he will know that he best apologize and quickly!

Here are some suggestions that you might want as part of his apology.....

Sorry Besti, that you don't have any takers for your husband. If I can ever get rid of mine I'll never do this marriage thing again. I got ripped off big time!!!! Judy has some wonderful ideas for apology gifts doesn't she? She is such a wise woman!

Blueyes 01-11-2010 04:46 PM

I know Janet...I can't even GIVE him away, lol!!! Yes, Judy always has good ideas:p I did get Mike straightened out, so I guess I'll keep him.

Janet, we would be so lonesome without our husbands. Wouldn't we???? J/K;)

paula1961 01-11-2010 05:18 PM

Thanks Paula! Mike retired a year and a half ago, so we are together 24/7  It has been a BIG adjustment, lol!!! I've been married to him since I was 16 years old, so you think I'd be used to it by now:rolleyes:
