What nice looking boys Betsi!! They have your eyes! I almost cried looking at the one of them together. I bet they miss each other so much! My 3 boys live within 30 min. of each other. They are so close. There is nothing like a brothers love for one another! Do they yak it up on the phone alot?:D
Yes Paula, my boys are VERY close. They just kept standing in the kitchen hugging and hugging so I took their picture. Michael and Rachel (and my grandkids) will be moving to Scotland sometime this spring, so it was an extra sad good-bye. I couldn't even watch Dustin and Joy hugging the kids good-bye..but they were good about keeping it up-beat!

You have really handsome sons Betsi....I can tell just how proud you are of them. It nice that they are so close.
What handsome boys you have, Betsi!!!! I bet that you really enjoyed having them home, but was so sad at telling them good-bye, especially knowing that Michael and Rachel are moving so far away. You're going to have to start watching your money so you can travel over and stay sometimes!!!!
Get that passport ready Betsi! Hopefully, you will see Michael, Rachel and the kids more than you think. When my cousin and his family moved to Belgium, my Aunt was so surprised at how often she was able to go visit.
They are such handsome boys, and both wives are beautiful. You have been blessed. |
Oh Betsi! Your boys are just the bomb! And your dil's too! You are a very lucky lady!
Betsi you have very handsome sons and lovely DIL's the oldest esp looks so much like you. It is very touching to see them hugging you can see the love there.. I agree with the other ladies save your money and go visit them often..
Thanks everybody! I am saving my money, and intend to apply for a passport this week.
I just never thought my boys would live so far away from me. But they have always been different...not "good ol E. Texas boys". No hog hunting and camo wearing for them, lol!! I am so, so happy with my dil's. They are just the best! Rachel wants me to stay in Scotland with them for 6 months at a time (passport time limit for a visit), and Joy wants me to just move to Seattle. She is even bribing me with the promise of starting their family if I am there:p |
Awww they look like they match! lol! You have a beautiful family Betsi!
I'm with everyone else. What a sweet family. Wow scotland. How exciting for them. Hope you get to go see them that would be so neat to go over there.
And when you do take pics so you can post on here for us to see. :) |

Thank you! They do match, lol, but they are 5 years apart! Scotland is SO not cool...I want them to stay here:eek:but I don't whine about it:rolleyes:
Of course you want them to stay near you....if only our children did what we wanted them to! How wonderful though that your DIL's are so loving and want you to live with them.
