We are in the deep freeze to (for us) - we've had temps around 30-32 with a fierce wind so the wind chills have been bad.
Of course, it is not nearly as bad as you guys up north, but it is bad for us because we rarely have this kind of weather and most people are just not prepared. In fact, my granddaughter has my down jacket - and my regular coat is unlined
I resorted to wearing a down-like sports jacket to work today.
We will get a really hard freeze tonight, and we rarely get below freezing, so there will be lots of broken pipes, as people just are not used to or prepared for this kind of weather. I wrapped out ourdoor faucets, but I saw that my neighbors did not, so I wrapped them. I hope they don't mind.
