I love seeing my former teachers too! The Asian students are always so happy to see their former teachers. In Asia, teachers are so very important in students' lives, in fact, they are one of THE most important people in their lives. They appreciate education so much because not all of them get the opportunity to go to college, let alone to graduate school. They always send birthday, Christmas, etc. greetings. And they always bring you a gift. It is part of their culture.
