We took gold tonight in men's curling

Lost last night and only got silver in women's curling. For never winning gold before at Olympics at home, we are now TIED for the most golds ever won at a home Olympics! We are leading right now in gold medals, but third place for overall medals. Tomorrow afternoon is Canada vs. USA in men's hockey for the gold. I'm pretty sure USA will win, but I have my fingers crossed anyway
Did any of you hear about Russia's president canceling his trip to Vancouver for the closing ceremonies? Apparently he was upset about the Russian hockey team not doing very well (they are usually a very strong team... Ovechkin plays for Russia and he is one of the top players in the NHL right now). Canada beat them badly last week, and he is so upset he won't even come anymore.
