I haven't been around here but I've been trying to keep up with reading posts while I'm at work. But work has been busy too so I haven't been able to reply much!
As most of you know, we got the house! We move on Saturday
So we have been packing like CRAZY! And I've been so excited about it for so long that it just feels exhausting to even think about it anymore.
On top of that there was a lot of drama a couple weeks ago with my brother's girlfriend and she kind of went off on our whole family and things have been quite awkward on that front. It's too stupid to even get into, but basically it started with being about my mom and now it's all of a sudden all on ME. I'm just trying to ignore it and be the bigger person but it's tough.
I just spent Easter with my grandma and family on my mom's side. I brought Scott there with me, the first time a boyfriend has met that side of my family! Everyone seemed to love him. We rented a motel room, and it was the worst place I've EVER stayed
As soon as we checked in, I had to use the washroom and the toilet wasn't flushed from the last user
In the morning I tried to have a shower but the cold water didn't turn on AT ALL. It was scalding hot! Scott brought out his swiss army knife and fixed that himself. Later that day we realized there were spiders everywhere
Needless to say, we will never stay there again. This morning we left and Scott was going to complain to get some money back, but nobody was around and he just had to drop the keys in a slot.
And there's what I've been up to lately! And now I have to go finish laundry and keep packing!
