How old is your boy? I have taught kids with Asburgers, and one of the things involved in Asburgers is real creativity. They do seem to have an obsession with fantasy things though, so good luck with the pokemon etc.! Plus, boys do love all that stuff!
I think there are many many people with high functioning Asburgers who do fine.
Most people don't even realize that they have it.
