Oh she definitely got a lot of love and attention! I just had to make sure to strictly tell them not to give her any extra food or treats because she has another pound to lose to make it easier for her to start walking again! But I told my mom that we made chicken broth ice cubes for Layla at home and when we got back to my parents' house, there were two trays of chicken broth ice cubes in the freezer
She loved them though!
It is so good to be back home now. I loved the trip but it feels nice to sleep in my own bed
We were invited out to another lake this weekend by Scott's friend and I think he's going but I'm strongly considering just staying at home. I think we're down to only having 4 or 5 weekends left at home this summer and I don't want to use them all up making more and more plans!
