Thank you. It didn't bother me much until the funeral when all the memories came back of him before his Alzheimers. He was almost completely opposite from my grandpa who was always fun-loving and joking around and very kid-friendly... but he kept my grandma company and would call her "dear" and was always willing to be involved in whatever our family was doing, whether it was my dad and uncle taking him hunting, golfing, or just playing cards with us. So I did get pretty sad, and I spent some time with my grandma last week, but I think she's doing okay.
I saw the specialist again last Wednesday and he told me my eyes are fine and I can wear contacts again. So I am. They don't hurt any more or any less with contacts in, so I guess it's okay. They are easy to take out at the end of the day so my eyes don't seem to be dried out, but they are still red. They actually cleared up last weekend when I was away from home, almost completely. The veins were still there but very very faint pink. Now that I've been at home all week, and back to work today, they're red again. I'm 90% sure it's an allergy to something.
