Layla used to get chronic ear infections, I hated having to see her uncomfortable! The vet thought it was from her food so we switched a lot until we found something that made her scratch less. When I first got her and took her in for her shots at 10 weeks, she had scabs on her head and when the vet stuck a cotton swab in her ear it came out completely brown
She had a bad yeast infection already at that age! It's a lot tougher now to tell because she can't scratch her own ears, so I rub them for her as much as I can and have them checked when she's at the vet. So far we've been pretty good though!
